How to make this relationship work?
I've met a girl on Facebook. We hit it off pretty well on our first chat, exchanged numbers and talk to on phone twice. I want to pursue her but she has a hectic schedule and I don't want to overwhelm her. By the time she gets off work I am getting ready to go work and by the time she's ready to go to work I am off but tired. I work later hours and she works early morning hours. I hate having conversations with her on Facebook chat because I hate small talk. I'd rather talk on the phone that way we can get to know each other better.

What can I do to get make her interest in me more? I feel like I won't have a chance if things are going this way.

Ask her to call you whenever she has some free time.
If she likes you, she will agree. To her it would seem like a pleasant way to pass time, instead of what you are implying-- that she doesn't like you and would find it irritating that she has to spend one more moment talking to you.
If that really is the case, then in your Facebook chat she was just being polite, and not exactly wanting to talk with you, and maybe you know it.
If you really know that wasn't the case, however... and talking to you is something she would voluntarily do, because she feels good in your company... if this is your gut feeling... then you only need to give her the opportunity to say yes.
Say, will you talk with me, if you have a moment between work? I really want to get to know you better. I like you, and I could use a friend. Work gets so tiresome! Let's change the pace. Tell me what makes you happy. What do you like? Let's grab coffee.
And so on.
