Hi Alina

It is not so much dominating but rather being part of this!

You will first need to find out were your market is, it will not help you at all to go say on twiiter but your customer base uses facebook. After you have established were your market is, don't wait for them to come to you, scan these websites for mentions of your company/competitors/similar industry. Once you find a mention say of some one badmouthing your competition you can say "look we do this better". On the other side, if you contribute to social media you will be seen as a expert, don't be afraid to share your knowledge (somebody else probably shared the same knowledge on another site, let them hear it from you as well).

This is only a small part of the picture, SEO, PPC and all that needs to fit in as well. But the main thing is to move away from shouting about your product/service and to start listening to what your customers want. And Social Media is really almost the best tool too do this.

Hi,

No doubt, social media is gaining ground in today's marketing strategy for every business. However, one has to take care of certain things in mind before deploying any social media strategy.

1. Its target audience
2. Things that need to be highlighted (products, solutions or business benefits)
3. How far one can leak information about its company and products?
4. Identifying blogs and forums to enhance social media presence
5. Identifying social platforms like Twitter, FaceBook or LinkedIn

Regards,

1st - make 21 videos - and share them for free ... of course those who want to have them downloaded ... need to give you their name and email address.

2nd - on day 15 - make an offer
3rd - on day 30 - make another offer for a paid version of what you've shared for free

In the mean time - share all over the place those videos

Find good social media tools to build your reach, for example, your Twitter followers and Facebook fans, on autopilot. There are loads out there, just do a quick Google search.

In my opinion, uSocial.net -- http://usocial.net/ -- is worth a look. They offer just about everything and have done right by me.

There is no single rule in dominating social media. You need to consider certain factors before you can expect any value from it.

Here is a short list of factors to consider:

1. Be present in places your target audience have a presence
2. Build relationships
3. Build trust
4. Be well branded
5. Humanize it (avoid or reduce use of automation bots)
6. Be innovative
7. Be consistent
8. Leverage other people's subscriber bases/ communities
9. Have a blog
10. Integrate offline marketing
11. Don't forget your call to action
12. Don't spam
13. Bait people with freebies to get them to signup to your newsletter
14. Test & Measure

You can't know how you will dominate without setting all these in place. Testing and measuring is especially the best ways to know if your campaign is effective or not.
