If I want to use Facebook on my Iphone, do I need a data plan?
I just got an Iphone, but I have no data plan, though I can connect to WiFi...
I might sound technologically challenged by asking this but, will I be charged for using apps like Facebook/Youtube,etc. (Internet apps) because I have no data plan? Or will my connection to WiFi allow me to use those apps without getting charged?

You will not; however you won't be able to check anything that requires internet when you don't have wifi.

When you use wifi, it relies on the wireless network; so you don't get charged!
