Can i remove the colored lid on my laptop?

here's the exact laptop i have a Dell Inspiron 1440, the lid has a lot of scratched can i remove the pink part and pop on a new lid?

You would need to remove the whole LCD Panel to replace the cover. You may need to take it to a computer shop to replace or pay Dell to have a tech come out to replace.
