How do I find my relationship request on Facebook?

I try to put my relationship with my boyfriend on Facebook but it says I have one waiting on my home page but, I can't find it!

"The process to accessing your hidden pending friendship requests is as follows: click on `Help` at the bottom right hand corner of the homepage- then click on çonnecting`- then `friends`- followed by ádding friends and friend requests`- then finally, click on `removing requests`. This will lead you to a menu that will allow you to view hidden pending requests . Hope you manage to get rid of that pending request."

If you have sent request then he need to confirm it by clicking the notification, directs you to request page, then there he can confirm it. If he sent you request then you need to confirm it.
