Persona 4 golden question ?

I'm playing Persona 4 Golden on my PS Vita, I really am enjoying it so far. I'm going to run the rest of yukikos castle dungeon and complete it in a couple in day games (2 I think). I want a new persona to go in with I like archangel because he learns media at lvl 12 witch I think will be very useful. I go to fuse him and it says, You do not have the S.Link blah blah, Then it says "You will be unable to bestow any additional power into this persona, Is that okay with you ? ". Does this just mean that I dont get the bonus from it ? Or i'm just confused and dont want to suffer for it later.

Anyway, also any other recomendations for personas I could make that would help me out would be great, I'm quite the noob.

when you go to fuse him that line simply means that since you dont have said social link that is the same type as said persona (justice personas get more exp the higher your rank is with nanako who is of the justice arcana)
