How to talk to this girl on facebook?

There is a girl that i've known throughout high school but only talked to when I sat next to her in a class. This past semester I sat next to her and I talked a lot to her and we got along great, but I never got her number or made it seem like I was really interested in her. Now this semester I have no classes with her, but have her on facebook. I want to talk to her and show her I'm interested. How should i start a conversation and what should I say to get her to know i'm interested and want to hang with her? I'm a senior in HS by the way.

You're not going to show interest over a social networking site. What you should do is speak to her over Facebook yes, but your not going to be like "you're pretty" over Facebook, because that will make things very uncomfortable in real life. Chat to her and have a normal conversation, then show your interest towards her in person like a man.

Just be like " hey how have things been with you, haven't seen you in awhile, whats good?."

Just something along those lines...They key is to start up conversation, and then go from there, good luck!
