Whenever I use facebook on my lap top, the lower left hand corner says error on page. How do I fix this?

Everytime I use facebook on my lap top, it says error on page in the lower left hand corner. When I use facebook on my desktop I have no problems. I can't write on friends walls or accept requests, because the buttons don't work. It used to work on my lap top, but now it hasn't worked for a few weeks. I've tried running virus scans, clearing my temporary internet files, updating Java and downloading IEfix.zip. It might be an error with javascript, however I don't know how to update it or see if it is working correctly on my computer. Since this has been ocurring for a few weeks, I've ruled out the possibility of it just being an error on the website. What's going on??? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't actually give you an answer, but this has been happening to me too. Cranky on my laptop but fine on the main pc.
One trick I've learnt is that refreshing helps a lot....i type the msg i want to send, copy it, refresh the page and then paste it and it lets me post!
Its dead annoying tho...glad i'm not the only one! Sorry I can't be more help. =)
