I need information about the Koobface virus?

Hi, so i recently heard about this virus called "Koobface". okay- first of all, what is it and how do i make sure that i dont get it?
then also, can Macs get it? thanks so much and if you could provide me with even more info than the answers to these questions that would be great.

I don't think it is targeted to macs but pc.So please stay cautious when using social networking sites.And have good antivirus as kaspersky.and don't download anything you are not sure about.
