How can I keep someone on my Facebook friends list but keep that certain person from seeing my posts?

I need to keep someone from seeing my posts. Everything I like, comment or post on my facebook. I looked up ways to do it and found some but since facebook has been updated to the timeline those settings changes do not work anymore. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated!

over on the side of a post there will be a button looks like a person or a earth and you click and instead of public or or friends set to custom and you can exclude that person from seeing post

-go to your timeline
-find the post you want to hide
-under your name in a post there is a date and beside that date there is a button that changes the sharing settings,
-click custom and you can see there's "don't share this with" and type/find the name of the person you don't want to see that post.

What happens when I add someone to the Restricted list?

When you add someone to your Restricted list, they'll only be able to see your Public content or posts that you tag them in. So if you put your boss on your Restricted list, post a photo and choose Friends as the audience, your boss (and anyone else on Restricted) won’t see that photo. However, if you add a tag of your boss to the photo, we’ll let them know they’re in it and they’ll be able to see the photo. If someone else tries to tag your boss in one of your photos, you’ll get to approve this tag from your pending posts.
