Why does this guy on facebook continually call my gf "my love"?

I can't tell if they might be having "a long distance relationship" or anything, but I hope nothing is going on with them. This guy is from Eygpt and if it wasn't for me, she propbably won't even be going to Eygpt, but its like most picture that I "like" on facebook, he "likes" it 2 or 3 days later as well and tells her "nice pic my love" and she says back "thanks my love ".

I can't tell if they actually know each other or just happened to meet via facebook. Plus, she barely even knows this guy is what I am assuming. If I hadn't talked with my girlfriend before we dated again, she'd probably be going to Egypt to date and visit this guy there, which is what she and her mom were planning on doing over the summer.

So does it look like my girlfriend and he are talking to each other via facebook behind my back? And if they are talking behind my back, should I message him on facebook and tell him to quit calling her "my love" and that she has a boyfriend and that I'm her boyfriend? Because I was thinking of doing this..

This is going to drive me insane if this guy keeps doing this to her.. so what should I do about this?

im a girl and believe me plent of guys have called me my love. it means they're into me. and if this guy is calling your gf his "love" then he is into her. or for some reason wants to get under your skin. if i were you i would call him out. your girl will think its sexy cuz they like a guy thats not too proud to be protective ;-) and if you talk to this guy then he will probably stop. and if i were you i would also talk to your girlfriend about it. be like i know you guys talk and the way he always calls you his love makes me think that theres something i dont know about. be like BITCH HE AINT YO LUV. Dude you are waaayyyy over analyzing it. Other guys give girls pet names or nicknames for the heck of it all the time. And if he lives all the way in Egypt I wouldn't be worried if I were you

I think they are flirting...and probably enjoying it a little.

The problem is, if you get too jealous it will rebound on you and turn her against you....by the green-eyed god of jealousy.

Foreign people often call girls "baby", "my love', etc. even though they're not together. HIS INTENTIONS ARE TO BE WITH HER, so make sure she understands that. If she doesn't understand it, she's pretty thick. I think that she must like the attention and know that it's completely silly and harmless (foreigners - and I'm not referring to immigrants - will often go after any walking, talking female) OR she is honestly oblivious to the inappropriateness.
Let her know it bothers you ASAP. If she doesn't care, then I'd leave her.

You should be talking to your girlfriend about this.if she has any true feelings for you she wouldnt be doing this.she is wrong for having that guy think she single.i would leave her if nothing changes.she shouldn't be doing what she doing...you can talk to the guy all you want but that wont change nothing.its your "girlfriend" as you call her.talk to her and her only.hope things work.
