Can my school suspend me for this?

I am a 15 year old who goes to a private school. My friend got suspended today atschool for skipping class with her friend to go to the bathroom and take pics. I was not involved in this but they both told me that I would probably get suspended from school too cause the guidance counselor, the one who suspended them, said that she's gonna question me tomorrow and will probably suspend me cause she found a pic of me and my friend on facebook of us in the bathroom and it was taken a couple months ago. It wasn't inappropriate, just a normal nice pic of us smiling and it was taken before first period where we have 15 minutes of free time. Can they suspend me for this? Like am I the only one who finds this ridiculous??

Haha. No. I would have your mom call the school. Don't be over dramatic about it. You know what the truth is, they are being ignorant. Be MATURE about it. Tell your mom you don't want a suspension for skipping on your school record if there is visible proof that you did not skip that day. They have NO proof that you skipped class the day the photo was taken months ago. Therefore they cannot suspend you. They have to have PROOF you skipped class. Take it from me, I used to skip all the time. Have them check your attendance in your classes of the day they are accusing you. Good luck
