Need ideas for my social network?

Need ideas for my social network?
Designing a p2p social network which will allow users to:
- post statuses of 512 char long
- post pics
- share youtube videos
- share files without the need for a tracker
- your profile is completely anonymous and cannot be shutdown, or tracked in any way.
- Because it's p2p it's complicated to block the network.
- it's point to point encryption so your ISP doesn't know what you're sending or receiving
- you have the option to setup multiple profiles on one install of the program (for your shop or place of business)
- You can set it to only allow your friends to contact you or be contacted by complete strangers.
- it's completely open source
- It's ad supported but you can turn them off if you don't feel like donating a little adspace to the cause.
- The code is cross platform compatible. It will run on Mac, Windows, and Linux

Have any suggestions? Dying to hear them. I have a few more up my sleeves but I want to get a code base worked out first.
@Walter, you've raised some concerns. I would like to address. . .
First of all the freenet project does the exact same thing. Websites are stored on the computers of every user in the network. You basically donate a portion of your harddrive to the project and your bandwidth is used also. It's actually very popular. Tor allows users to donate bandwidth. Frostwire uses bandwidth and harddrive space. BIONIC uses your processor, your hard drive, and your bandwidth to form super-computers. Secondly the encryption is mainly to obsure not to completely block out eavesdroppers. Lastly, an introduction node can be any node in the network and doesn't have to reset each time the program restarts. Tor actually keeps a log of your last entry nodes so it doesn't connect to a primary node and get locked out.

You're in way over your head. And p2p social network is a bad idea, that would mean that when you turn your computer off your profile would be unavailable. Unless you are planning on having your data stored on other peoples computer? That's a security breach. I don't think you've really thought this through. I also don't think you understand how p2p works well enough to design it. Nobody is going to want their personal profile information stored on a bunch of random computers. And to top that off nobody is going to want you to use their internet or hard drive as a storage device.

p2p does not JUST work you need to use a central location to find your first peers. That central location can be blocked and then you can't find any peers dynamically.

Point to point encryption? anyone can read your data inbetween? I'm sorry but I would never use this service, and neither would anyone else. Way too insecure.........

Here is my suggestion:
until you figure out a social network that you can design that will be able to beat facebook. Don't try, unless that is not your goal. If your goal is to have a small social network for certain people or something go ahead.
