Why did facebook win over other social networks?

i don't understand why facebook became so famous vs other social sites that had been out earlier, like myspace for example.

Myspace (and other site's) became to "user unfriendly" so to speak. Facebook's format was/is much easier to interreact with your friends.

Because through facebook the users can easily private chat, do tagging, share contents and make video calls easily to their friends and relatives. It is also user friendly and has no confusing features like in other social networks.
