Can I register itunes without a credit card?
I got an iphone 4s today and when trying to download facebook, which is free, it tells me that my apple id hasn't been used with itunes. When I went on it asked me for a credit card and I don't have one. What can I do ?
If I don't have a credit card does that mean I can't use facebook or any other apps?

Correct. Although many apps are free, in order to establish an account through iTunes you need a credit card or bank ATM card on file. An alternative is to jailbreak your iPhone and enjoy free apps from the black market (Cydia). If Facebook is your main app however, you may use Safari to access facebook's mobile online version in your phone.
