How do I clear the Java cache?

How do I clear the Java cache?
I play many of the FaceBook java game apps, but I notice after a while, they slow down. I was thinking maybe I need to clear the cache. My OS is Windows XP service pack 3.

Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Java. Once you've opened Java, under the General tab go down to" Temporary Internet Files" & click on "Settings", at the bottom click on "Delete Files".
