Computer Nerds help this Student!!?
Im a student at a local highschool that has wifi. however the wifi is filtered and only allows certain sites. i cant accest social media sites or youtube or anything. I have a Android Mini tablet that runs on, obviously andriod and supports wifi. i know there is a way to access your internet service (my house) through my schools interent using a proxy and port forwarding or something to that matter. I want to do this so i am not blocked out of social media sites and youtube. could anyone explain to me how to do this? what apps i have to download? and what addresses go where ? Much Appreciated!!

allright the simplest way is the s method basically hit has http: put https: instead this will get u around part 1 then type in your password press enter it will block you again its ok now you want to just press the back button and you should be loged in

also what that guy is talking about wont work in your case basically they have a computer that will allow or block similar to a firewall but it looks at the links so https: will tell that fire wall its safe and allow it threw
youtube will work you just have to keep reloading it over and over takes me about 10 times to get a vid running

I'm not clear on how to do this but something you should know, school district's don't use Windows Parental Controls. They set a proxy over the local network that redirects all traffic through it, acting as a filter. If you find a way to bypass that proxy and use your own, you'll be set. Sorry I couldn't help more.
