Facebook has been adding people I never requested?

I'm quite confused.
Facebook has been adding nearly everyone with mutual friends, and I KNOW I did not add them.
Within the past hour or so 30 people have accepted friend requests that I apparently sent

Or maybe someone is on your account sending out those friend requests.
