I keep receiving e-mail from people using the names of my friends from facebook?

The e-mails always have the name of someone on my facebook friends list as the sender, and when you open it, there's always a link that leads to nothing. I've figured out that it's spam obviously, but I don't know how they are getting the names of my friends on facebook and I would like to stop it if possible. I can't figure out how to inform Facebook, when I go to "how do I report spam" it just tells me how to report spam that is on the actual website. Any idea how these people are getting this information and how exactly I can go about reporting it to the admins on facebook?
