Is political science and sociology good majors for me?
I am interested in the political and societal impacts of social media and the Internet (i.e. the Kony2012 phenomenon and online campaigning). Also, what occupations would fall in this category?

Unless you plan to go on to graduate school (and teach), there aren't any jobs for political science or sociology majors.
