Remove script errors from Internet Explorer. Launch Internet Explorer from the Start menu. Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options." Hit the tab labeled "Advanced." Place a check mark next to "Disable script debugging (other)" under the sub-heading "Browsing." Click to remove the check mark next to "Display a notification about every script error." Click on "Apply" and hit "OK."

Disable error reporting from Windows operating system. Right-click on "My Computer" or "Computer" (for Windows Vista or Windows 7) and click on "Properties." Hit the tab labeled "Advanced." Click on "Error Reporting." Click to choose "Disable error reporting."

3
Fix runtime errors by cleaning your registries. While you can clean Windows Registry Editor manually, it is generally not recommended since there is always a risk of removing or changing the wrong registry. The easiest and most effective way is to use a Registry cleaning program. "Registry Mechanic," "Registry Patrol" and "DT Utilities Registry Repair" all offer free trial versions. See Resources and make a selection. Run a complete scan of your registry to remove and fix corrupt registries.

4
Use the Disk Defragmenter utility to troubleshoot runtime errors. Disk Defragmenter rearranges all the files and folders in your hard disk. Click on the Start menu and click on "All Programs." Next, click on "Accessories" and then "System Tools." Click on "Disk Defragmenter." Hit the tab labeled "Disk Defragmenter." Click on the "Degfragment" button.

Remove viruses off your computer using your antivirus program. Viruses and other computer malware often generate error messages. Download an antivirus program if you do not have one. Avira, Avast and AVG offer free downloads (see Resources). Run a complete scan of your computer. Follow the guided instructions to remove viruses from your computer.
