Is it possible to sync my iPad 2G 16GB with my iBook G4 12" 1.0GHz with ANY iTunes?

I'm really just trying to get some music on my music library on my iPad. I just purchased this iBook G4 12" 1Ghz processor running Mac OSX 10.5.8. I honestly only purchased this laptop because I wanted to sync my iPad to an actual iTunes library. I will download any iTunes, anything to get this working. Please help. My iPad is Jailbroken running IOS 5.0.1. Thank you very much.
