I THINK ALL THE MEDIA & PUPPET- PUNDITS ARE USING SCARE & FEAR TACTICS, TO CONVINCE THE PUBLIC IT'S OK FOR "CONGRESS" TO DUMP HUGE DEBT ONTO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, THAT THE CAPITALIST & CONGRESS CREATED WITH THEIR GLOBAL EMPIRE DOMINATION AND LONG WARS ETC.

Please no idiot's parroting what the media says for comments use your own brain instead. Entitlements did NOT create the current 16 Trillion dollar debt. Everyone who works legitimately pays into the system since 1935 and many die before reaching retirement like my father did, he never got 1 penny from Social Security minus death benefit.

If you mean who "got" the money then they got Billions.
If you mean who "owes" the money then its us the taxpayers.
As far as entitlements are concerned,SS would be fine if Congress didn't steal from it.It is in fact the U.S. governments biggest debtor.Its other entitlements that are backed by tax dollars and given to non tax payers that create problems.In a nutshell,we need smaller government!!
