Spiritually speaking: Are the ads on the right side of my yahoo answers page the devil's temptations?
I am trying to cut down on sushi, and the Devil is placing those ad's there. Atheists, how do you explain the fact that I love sushi, and those ads just show up!? I need to cut back for lots of reasons.

What ads? I use firefox with like 50 privacy/anti-ad addons.

It's market research by Yahoo! If you search for sushi places on the Yahoo! search, it will keep that in its memory and start tailoring advertisements to suit what you gravitate towards the most.

Facebook does the same thing with their ads, as well as the Sith Empire. Although, in all fairness, we keep bombarding the citizens of the Empire with the same ads and threaten them to buy our products or face the wrath of a well-placed Force Choke.
