Valentine's ideas for a very very long distance relationship?

My boyfriend and I have been together since last June and I'm really in love with him but he lives in Egypt and I live in the US. Valentines day is coming up and I want to do something special for him. Mailing probably isn't an option right now and I'm not a particularly artistic or creative person. My mom suggested I make some kinda of video of our pictures with music but we don't have any pictures together and I'm really self conscious about most pictures of me. I also think a video might come out a little too cheesy. I would post something on his facebook wall but I've never put anything romantic on there before and he still hasn't changed his relationship status (I think its cause some of his family have a problem with me being non-muslim and non-arab). Anyway, does any one have any ideas for what I could do?

I would take photo of myself carrying a rose or something
or even food that you make and hold the colourful paper ( write your message)

Go to a store and buy him something, keep it for a day when you do meet, but send him a picture of it (like through the computer not the mail haha) and tell him something like "Someday I'll be able to actually you give you this, but for now, a picture is all we can do, I love you" or something. You know?

maybe do a "skype date" and talk and eat dinner? something like that
