What happens when I delete my Twitter?

So I'm about to delete my twitter because my dad yelled at me, ya. So, my tweets are private until someone is following me. When I delete my twitter, can people still see my profile if they're following me? And if people aren't following me, will my tweets be visible since i deactivated the account? I really don't want anyone in my family to see anything I put on there, it's very private. Thank you sooooo much in advance<3

no they won't see them. and you can reactivate your twitter within 30 days after if decide to keep it.

It gets terminated temporarily. No user can visit your page anymore nor your followers can see your activity anymore. All will be deactivated temporarily for 30 days. 30 days is given to reactivate your account. If you don't do it in this time period, it will get terminated permanently and you won't be able to get your account back anymore.
