Ad-blocker and Facebook?

Ad-blocker and Facebook?
Ads had invaded my internet spaces. I installed an ad-blocker for Firefox about a half-hour ago, and all the ads have disappeared (even ones i was ok with having). However, upon trying to play with a Facebook app, I find it is no longer working. An ad always played before it would let me play. Is the ad-blocker causing the app to refuse my entry because I'm somehow not "paying" for it? How can I fix it (short of uninstalling or disabling the ad-blocker if possible)?
If it helps, I said f*ck it and moved on to Google Chrome. Everything got fixed. Thanks.

it depends on which adblocker you installed, and which browser you are using, and which facebook app you are referring to

what you will find is that there are many spammy apps that only exist to spam you and your friends so they can make money, and when you block their spam with an adblock program, their programs no longer work

another possibility is that you got tricked into installing a toolbar or browser extension that is causing the problem
