Why is my yahoo homepage different?

How do I get the classic view back? I don't associate with facebook, have never had an account, now my yahoo homepage wants me to link my non-existent facebook account, and it looks all bright and condescending much like facebook pages do, Facebook was created by a lonely friendless soul, and I am sure the majority of its subscribers are the same lot. Why would yahoo force changes upon account holders? Someone please help, If it can't go back, I will have to cancel my email, and become a luddite.
