Dell Inspiron N5110 Integrated cam not working?
Hello,
My boyfriend and I live far apart when we are not at uni so we need Skype to see each other. My integrated cam doesn't work because it says it is being used by another program. I have closed all programs and have restarted my computer. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver. I also called a technician who said my computer had some malware in it and that is what was causing it but then he tried to charge me super amounts of money so I said I wasn't interested as I can't afford anything as a student. Anyway, I really need a solution. I am not so great when it comes to the technicalities of computing. Hope someone can help. Oh and also even if I plug in and use an external webcam the same message comes up. Thanks Smile

Run HiJackThis, (don't be scared by the name)

http://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/

Download and open the program, Click "Do a system scan and save a logfile", wait for a min and a notepad will open, select all, copy the text and paste it as a response.
