How does Facebook sort your online friends?
OK, so when you look at the thumbnails of your "friends on chat" when you are on your home page on Facebook under the left side of the page that has news-feed, welcome, groups, apps, etc. What order are your online friends in. Because I always see the same people in an unorganized order and sometimes the order changes and I just want to know why my friends are ordered in such a weird looking way?

They are ordered alphabetically from A-Z (last names)
and it orders them with ONLY the people online, then the people online
get their own A-Z grouping.
