How come on my laptop, all of my icons are messed up?

On my laptop all of my icons when I go to a website, in the left hand corner, all of the icons are messed up. Like msn's logo is on when I go to facebook. And Yahoo's website, it has Gaia's logo. Is it a virus? How can I get rid of it with out erasing my memory?

First step, if you have antivirus software run it. I'm sure someone has a better answer. If you don't have any get some there are some pretty goo free ones out there. I use Avira. If this doesn't wor if it turns out that you don't really have a virus then restart your computer and check your hard drive space. delete things you don't use anymore, you can always get is back later if you have a need for it.
