All Codes of Conduct have no legal obligation to them.
I presume "ethical behaviour and social responsibilty" charters are reassuring words, but often the people at the top use these things to look good, whilst shafting their customers. |

Well both of these strengthen your brand equity.
Having the consumer know that you have certain ethical standards and also are concerned with social responsibility can be a great strength. Many companies list these things in their SWOT analysis as Their "S" which is strengths. Also this always boost moral within the company and just create a more comfortable working environment. |
