Do you think unfollowing you unfollowers is immature?

Like most teens I have instagram,twitter,and cinemagram the 3 of my favorite social media sites. As you know if you have ever been on any of these sites you know they all use a system of followers to following and people are very competitive as to the ratio of following to followers for whatever reason. I don't have an amazing ratio or anything on any of these sites but, do any of you else get kind of annoyed when someone unfollows you? Naturally I unfollow them back because I don't want someone else's ratio to benefit off of me because they don't think I'm "worthy" enough for a follow. Is that an immature way to think or is that most people?
