my ipod kicks me out of apps and safari?

so i've had a 2nd generation ipod touch for a few years now, and lately it has been dumb. i can't load any apps at all, it will kick me back to the homescreen and it does the same when i go to safari. (with safari i might be able to look at a webpage for 15 seconds before it does that) the facebook app works periodically, and it recently started doing the same thing with my email too. its not cracked or jailbroke or anything but i have dropped it quite a few times. any known way to fix this?

You may have downloaded an app that made your ipod crash. Or it may just be poor quality. In any case, try resetting it and see if that works. If it doesnt, try calling the apple store for additional help.
