how do i get rid of a facebook virus?
i have changed my password 3 times and done a virus scann on my computer and it is still there

Update your antivirus and scan for viruses on your computer. If that doesn't work, I would just close your account and open a new one.

If its on your cpu reformat after backing up. If its just on facebook contact there admins.

I'd say delete your facebook account and don't ever navigate to the page again. The facebook virus has been infecting the otherwise burgeoning lives of college goers for years now.

do the malware bytes thingy virus scan it really works..
and if it doesnt find anything then myabe its not a viruss... maybe something else =/

I had a virus like this on the office computers, so we did a backup, and formated the hard drive and re-installed the Operating system and other software. Then I updated the antivirus, firewall and spam filter. For future never open a twitter or facebook email with an attachment its always has a virus, you antispam software that comes with the antivirus should be able to handle this. Also, do not go for the free antivirus software in the net they never work, use a recognised one like ESET or Kaspersky,
