How Do I Be A Beauty Guru?
I made a channel in December and I want to know how to become a beauty guru.
Like, what I have to be like and what I have to do to get subscribers and be a beauty guru! Thanks for helping!

Well a degree in a related subject, any good guru would have that.

1. Make an account. Pick a good username. Pick something catchy, that is easy to remember. (Avoid long strings of numbers.) Err on the side of being not too silly. When you get a little older (or get more subscribers) you might regret it. You can never go wrong with using your first name and then something that describes your channel, such as BeautyByRachel or TiffanyNails.

2. Jazz up your channel page. Add a nice background, and modules like recent activity. A good way to get views is to set the video on your channel to autoplay.

3. Start subscribing to other gurus! Watching other guru's videos is a great way to learn about what types of videos are successful.

4. Start making videos. Start with easy tutorials and keep them short and sweet! Then edit them using iMovie (Mac) Or Windows Movie Maker (PC). Make sure to have good lighting (sunlight or a bright inside light) and good audio. Speak clearly and loudly. Plan your videos out ahead of time. Keep them at around 6-8 minutes (or shorter), and try not to ramble, but instead be to the point and discuss the video topic. Try to make a new video every one to two weeks.

5. Tag your videos when you upload them, and fill in the description box. This is how new viewers will find your videos, because they will find them through searching YouTube. Use a descriptive title as well. So instead of "My Hair Routine," you should use, "My Curly Hair Wet Styling Routine for Shiny, Defined Curls."

6. Add your videos as 'Video Responses' to videos that are similar in topics and have lots of view.

7. Be nice to people when they leave nice comments. Make sure to reply to comments and answer questions. Ignore negative comments. Everyone gets them on youtube, and the best policy is to not reply to them. If they bother you, delete the comments. And if they leave multiple negative comments on your videos, just block them.

8. Make a blog or maybe a Facebook account so that your subscribers can keep updated with the latest news and videos! Do this once you've accumulated a lot of subscribers.

9. Apply for YouTube partnership. Do this once you have a solid amount of people that watch your videos when you upload them (750-2000ish views). If you are accepted you will get more abilities to personalize your channel and you will be able to earn money from video ad revenue.
