Is it appropriate to add your student teacher on Facebook?
I have had this really nice, female student teacher in my math class for a few weeks already..I was curious and bored one afternoon so i looked her up on Facebook. Not expecting to find her, I did! I wouldn't dare add her, at least not while she's teaching my class. If I did add her, do you think it would be okay? Since she's not my full-time teacher?
Thanks everyone who replied.. I know it's inappropriate, I just wanted other peoples' opinion.

No, it's not acceptable, or professional.

No, it seems inappropriate to me. Nothing good can accrue to the teacher over something like this.

Not really, it's just the same type or a relationship issue as with a regular teacher. Not a good habit for the student teacher to get into, either.
