How to prevent friend from posting on my Facebook timeline?
Is there a way to block a friend from posting on my Facebook timeline? I know I can block all my friends but I don't want to do that. The person in question is my daughter's best friend's dad and has been a family friend for at least 5 or 6 years. So unfriending is out of the question. He posts to my wall everyday, sometimes several times. Found out on his birthday that he had his wall blocked and no one can post to it. Why would someone block their wall but feel its ok to post to other people's wall? I have resorted to deleting his posts every morning from the day before.
I get to "Who can post to my Timeline' and the only options are 'Friends' & 'No One". There is no option for 'Custom'. What am I missing??

If you go to your privacy settings, timeline and tagging, there will be an option there for who can see your timeline posts. Make it custom, and leave him off the list.
Or, if you're comfortable, email him and ask that he message you rather than post on your wall.

Go to Privacy Settings Go to Timeline and Tagging Under Who Can Add Things to my Timeline Set it To Custome and Add that Person to the Restricted List and Only That 1 Person Wont Be able to Write on your Timeline Hope This Helps

Even if you prevent your frenemy from posting, it's Zuckerberg's timeline, not yours. That you have to hustle to figure it out is the clue that you are being owned by a sharpie.
