How does The Simpson's portray moral and social issues through the medium of cartoons?
I need help please, a few of examples how they portray social issues e.g. sexuality, politics, religion etc...

Try watching an episode to understand it, that will be your biggest help. But usually they make fun of it for a while, something "tragic" happens and they solve the problem. The problem can really be anything, ie. pollution.

Well almost in every single episode they do, i can give you an example which they do, there was an episode awhile back where they Show a scene of The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe, so there you have it, the simpsons does teach you something.
