How to delete a facebook account?

long story short, my old facebook got deleted due to virus, so I made a new email address so I could make a new facebook account. I forgot my password to my email and new facebook...how can I delete the facebook that I just made and no longer can get into ? I don't want me friends stay in touch with a page I no longer am a part of

When you try to log in select the "forgot my password" option, which will send you a new password after an identity check. Once you are able to log in, on your home page, given you're using a desktop computer, go to the upper right hand corner of the web page where you can click on your name. Click on it and you should see a "my account" link. After going there, select "delete my account."

go to settings
slect account settings
below the page select deactivate account
give your password and you are done

i think u will not be able to delete it but u can deactivate it........it is as same as to delete. ur friends will not be able to see ur account ...........or u have another option u can change ur password of ur email and then of Facebook by clicking on forgot password and ...................................
