If Liberals hate large corporations and slave labor so much, why do they support them?

You've made two incorrect assumptions.

First, we Liberals don't hate big corporations. We just don't think that big corporations should be totally without controls (regulations) when we people are subject to controls (laws).

Second, Walmart and McDonalds don't hire "slave" labor. They provide jobs for young people getting a start in life. They provide jobs for adults with no training or education that would qualify them for any other job. They also provide opportunities for those groups to move up into higher paying management jobs if they excel.

Those two views are not in conflict with each other. Large corporations that provide entry level jobs for untrained and inexperienced workers are fine with me as long as they obey all laws and regulations.
