If I get a new computer, will a Trojan virus transfer?
My computer has the Trojan virus, and I want to buy a new one, but since I would be doing it on the same Bresnan account, would the computer become infected?
Also, if I go to my email/facebook etc, will whatever computer I'm using become infected?

It depends on what computer you're getting. If you are getting a Mac, there should be no problem. If you are getting a PC with Windows on it, there will be a virus on it eventually. Or maybe PCs are just made with viruses pre-installed.

On the first question i`d say im not sure,i think it is only transfered if you transfer the file it infected.
Use a anti virus remover, i highly reconmend avg, i tried cheating at a game the other day lol,and the term cheaters never prosper has never been more true lol, i downloaded an aimbot, and with it i got two trojans that i didn`t want, but luckily enough avg detected and deleted them.
And only if you are sending a file and they open it with the trojan/virus inside, and they haven`t got a good enough anti virus.
Like you can access your email/facebook or whatever account in a library or on another computer without getting that trojan onto the computer you are using.

If all you want is an excuse to get a new computer, that's fine. Just be sure you scan any files you transfer to the new computer with a decent, updated anti-virus applicaiton, and this: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

However, if you scan your computer with a decent, updated anti-virus and this, the computer you have should be fine: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
