Ask her. "LOL" is used for anything these days. "Did you have dinner yet?" "LOL".

This is why I hate texting and computers, you can never tell the tone of someones voice and if they are serious! The person could have been serious, and added the LOL because they felt kind of nervous telling you that (especially if they are a guy and has a crush on you)
