It seems to me that (predominately) white Americans carry:?

1. A huge prison population
2. A huge military to provide security for the world
3. The cost of putting most of the world back on its feet after WW2
4. Millions of illegal immigrants attracted to your prosperity, and,

5. having invented the middle class way of life gave its work to third world countries (thereby raising them with your former employment, and market),

at the price of being forced to live without decent health and social security safety net, out of balance institutions (eg Arms Corporations, Lobbyists), huge deficits and recession - and being fed a dogma to make that 'acceptable'.

I am grateful for what the USA has done over the past 70 years. What do others think?
