When you reach Social Security age, do you have to fill out forms to start recieving SS or does it auto...?
or does it automatically start coming monthly checks in the mail.... lets say they raise socail securtiy age to 90 years old, how would anyone remember or know how to fill the complicated paper forms, because if you forget, isnt that an easy way for the government to keep extra money because you "forgot" to fill out the application?

you have to fill out the forms months in advance to see if you even qualify and for how much.

Most family members will take care of this if it is impossible for the beneficiary is unable.

Pay a visit to your local SS office. Fill out some papers and you will learn how much you will receive each month, based on the average of the highest five years of wages. Oh, and you need a checking account to have direct deposit now.
