Democrats should change their names to socialists and stop calling themselves liberal. "Liberals" In todays society are actually progressives or socialists who stole that label just because they like the word "liberal" better than their appropriate label. See below for accurate definitions.

Study philosophies, cultures, and social institutions and you will find i'm correct. Learn on your own because colleges/universities advocate a neo-Marxist ,anti-military, and anti-capitalism indoctrination.

If one were to continue their quest wading through the huge pile of stinking crap they'd find a wide variety of bigots piled on top of truth (hidden from nearly everyones view.) The pile was made by blaming people they don't like while excusing people they do like regardless of where the fault really lies.

True liberalism advocates: individual freedom, weak government, and free markets. Conservatism advocates: moral responsibility, strong government, and protected markets. Progressives advocate: social concern, omniscient government, and controlled markets. Socialism advocates: social responsibility, omnipresent government, and collective markets.

I totally disagree with your assessment of what liberals, conservatives, progressives, and socialists advocate. I don't even know where you dug up those assessments. Most political orientations are hybrids, and even among the same political groups there are variations and disagreements. It is not as monolithic and simple as you want to make it.

In terms of piling whatever on your version of the truth, that's a matter of perception. As best as I can recall, President Obama has clearly stated that there is plenty of blame to go around on both sides of the aisle, but he also stated an objective truth that the GOP-controlled House has practiced obstruction simply for the sake of political positioning. What has the GOP-controlled House accomplished? Furthermore, no other Senate body in US history has employed filibustering more than the current GOP members in the US Senate. This is fact. Do the research. President Obama has simply stated this fact because the American people need to know, and should know.

As to labels... they are just that. Labels. If you want to call Democrats marxists, you can certainly do so. However, you should consider that the most successful economies in the world, Norway, Sweden, Germany, China, are a hybrid of socialism and government-subsidized capitalism. American capitalism is inefficient and cannot compete in the global marketplace unless radical changes are made.

well by that logic conservatives should change their name too. you say study philosophies, cultures and social institutions, yet caution against universities/colleges. universites and colleges are places where people come together to discuss varying views and form opinions. the stronger opinion in todays colleges lean to the left whether you agree with it or not. are you stupid or just dumb?
