What does this poetic paragraph mean?
Someone I like wrote this facebook status:
Dating someone you know barely anything about just because you find their physical attributes pleasing is like eating a piece of candy--Sure, it'll be pleasing for a little while. But, later you might find yourself hurting on the inside after what thin substance there was has dissipated. Unless you get lucky. Ads |

It means that being in a relationship that's based solely on physical attraction and has no emotional connection might be nice for a little while, but eventually you realize it's not good for you.
And then the last sentence just kills the romanticism by saying that all the emptiness of the shallowness will be okay if you get sex out of it. Ads |
