Why do (some) teenage girls create dramatic situations?
So recently i've noticed that girls around age 14-15 enjoy talking trash and starting feuds and dramatic situations over social media platforms such as FaceBook. As a guy who doesn't understand any of that, I get annoyed when I see a long string of obscure arguments between people I know for almost no reason. (Usually ridden with spelling errors, might I add.) I was just wondering if anyone had a theory about why they act this way. All comments besides "Bitches be stupid" are appreciated.

Sorry to tell you this, but it's not just teenage girls. They continue this crap into your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, you get the point...It is annoying, and it's usually caused by jealousy and/or insecurity.

I've gotten into a feud, only one though. I commented on a stupid video saying and I quote "that was a waste of my life." and a girl gets in my face and tells me I'm not worth life. So I had to talk back (not mean may I add) and she continued. Turns out she was having troubles in her life. But wasn't an excuse. So stress, hormones, and problems at home.

It's because of hormones.

If they're adults, then it's because of insecurity and jealousy like Savannah said in her answer.

some people just like to argue for the sake of it..... they "forget" what the "point" of the argument was and end up bickering as if life depends on it. They hide behind a key board and think they are at liberty to unleash their opinions and venom on everyone. its a bit like how some peoples devil horns come out as soon as they get behind the wheel of their car.
