The first thing to do would be to contact their HR department and see if there is anyone in particular you need to address the letter to.

In the letter itself you need to be positive and enthusiastic. Start by explaining that you are writing to them to enquire about or apply for work experience with them. Tell them why you want to do work experience at your chosen place. Tell them what you can bring to the work experience and what you are hoping to get out of it.

Tell them of any achievements you have made recently anything from attendance, punctuality to team achievements can be good.

Make sure you thank them for reading your letter and make sure you include your contact details so they can get back to you easily. Tell them you look forward to hearing from them with any advice or work experience they can offer.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
