How do I turn the internet off on a HTC Wildfire S?
I use the internet connection at home and I'm on pay as you go. I have a lot of things that use internet ( like this app that's on my homescreen which shows all of the status' on Facebook which you can see without clicking on the app) on my phone and don't want to pay or use them when I'm outside. So how can I stop my phone from using internet.
PS- I don't know what apps use internet and I don't want to delete any of them.

Press and hold the Power button.

Scroll down the phone Options menu.

Tap Mobile Network.

This is clearly spelled out in the user's guide, available on the HTC website.

start from home screen., then menu - settings - wireless and networks; scroll down to mobile network and tap to turn it off. Another way is to swipe down to display the notification screen and go to the quick settings tab
